Our Vision “Putting Community into Practice”
“Our vision entails living together, learning together and work by all people in their diversity as a natural fact of life.” Bethel Board of Management
We live in a colorful society. With young and old people. With healthy, ill or disabled persons. Each person has something unique, something special about them and is a part of our society with all of his/her strengths and weaknesses. We desire to implement our idea of “Putting Community into Practice” not only at Bethel but also throughout our entire society.
Consequently, we have summarized in a vision the goals and tasks which we perceive as the cornerstones of our work in Christian social welfare services. Our vision gives us a footing and orientation, and it is a means of communicating what Bethel stands for and conveying to others the future goals we want to achieve. The individual, with his/her desires and dreams and the right to share in life, forms the core of our vision because each person is an individual loved by God and possessing an inalienable dignity.
We have already implemented our vision innumerable times by enabling disadvantaged persons to participate in social life. We want to continue implementing our vision in this manner. Our vision is simultaneously an incentive and impetus for our action.
