The v. Bodelschwingh Foundation Bethel operates the largest protestant general hospital in Germany. It is located in East Westphalia and treats some 50,000 patients annually. Bethel holds a majority share in the Evangelical Hospital Königin Elisabeth Herzberge (KEH) in Berlin. As a general hospital with 120 qualified doctors, it offers optimal diagnosis and treatment for a wide variety of diseases.The KEH in Berlin-Lichtenberg is one of the leading treatment facilities in Germany in the fields of epilepsy and urology. The hospital operates two psychiatric day clinics and a renowned psychiatric unit for children and adolescents as part of the city’s provision of mental health services. KEH is a teaching hospital of the Berlin Charité.
