The Hoffnungstal Foundation Lobetal were founded in 1905 by Friedrich von Bodelschwingh, who at the same time had been working as Bethel’s director since 1872. Today the Hoffnungstal Foundation Lobetal is one of the four foundations of the v. Bodelschwingh Foundation Bethel.
