From urban Hanover to rural Diepholz, Bethel offers support in Lower Saxony for young and elderly persons with various requirements, among others in the fields of assistance for senior citizens and for young people, education, assistance for the homeless and addicts. The range of services is consolidated in the “Bethel in North Germany” Unit.

“Bethel in North Germany”, like all other Bethel Foundation Units, relies on its vast experience in all fields of assistance work and on its Christian and diaconate identity. The v. Bodelschwingh Foundation Bethel wants to support persons in Lower Saxony with a broad range of services for individuals who require help from others or who find themselves in difficult and precarious situations. It is a question of providing relief, counseling, nursing care and support, but it also involves acquiring the courage and freedom to lead a successful life. Bethel is the largest provider of assistance and care services for senior citizens in Lower Saxony.
